The six-episode second season set in Belfast, Northern Ireland picks up with Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Anderson) on the trail of serial killer Paul Spector (Dornan). A personal link to Paul's past opens up some clues for the detective, but provokes the killer and could destroy the whole investigation. The closer Gibson gets to her man, the more risks there are and the two engage in a psychological destructive battle.

The two characters never met during the five-episode first season, but that all could change in this new batch of episodes. The Good Wife's Archie Panjabi also stars.
